Congress returns from its month-long recess on September 3rd. The time is typically reserved for individual Members of Congress to meet with their constituents and conduct townhalls to explain legislative and policy priorities, accomplishments, and the road ahead.

Since this GOP controlled-Congress abdicated all responsibility to their “god” a 79 year old convicted felon with a remarkable business and personal history littered with bankruptcies, fraud settlements, stiffing workers, assaulting women, and lusting after murderous tyrants, most just enjoyed their time away from Washington DC and its takeover by the military because who cares about the rule of law, the Constitution, “checks and balances”, and democracy anymore?

Congressional “To Do” list

• Avoid a government shutdown with a Continuing Resolution to fund minimal operations.
• Raising the Debt Ceiling to avoid fiscal catastrophe -the United States unable to repay debt. Just like the bankruptcies of everything else Trump, the Criminal Elect, has touched.

• Hiding everything relevant from the Epstein investigation involving the Criminal Elect from raping girls, including moving the convicted sex trafficker of children, Ghislaine Maxwell to a prison/resort. In other words -burn and destroy the investigation (but not the flag!)

  

  

  

  

  

  

• Oversight of impoundments and tariffs. Hah! Just Kidding -the spineless sycophants of the GOP will do whatever the Criminal Elect tells them.

• The GOP-controlled Congress will patiently be waiting for the Criminal Elect to ignore any new round of severe sanctions on Putin, because you know, Trump Tower Moscow.

• Finally, Trump’s quislings will do all they can to avoid their constituents’ concerns about millions losing access to healthcare, asking questions such as “if Tax cuts for corporations and the wealthiest ‘job creators’ strengthen the economy, why are you raising the debt ceiling?, why are you allowing a tyrant to send lethally trained troops into US cities -do we really need another Kent State tragedy, and more.
